The hunt begins

Critics refer to TFA as a delaying of real life. You take a job for two years to avoid having to find one. Couldn’t graduate school fit into this category as well?

I’ve been gradually growing more and more afraid of what is going to happen in May. I certainly hope to get into the graduate school of my choice, but then what? I’m still going to have to find a job.

I tried looking for jobs today on the internet, just in case. According to “What Color is My Parachute?”, a popular job hunting book, this is the absolutely worst way to look for jobs. For someone who has always been handed jobs, or approached about them, I have no idea how to go about finding a career.

Do they have a class for this?

What city are you trying to find a job in? It’s kind of difficult to job search if you don’t even know what city you’ll be living in…And, btw, I mailed your reference letters for grad school last week. :) Good luck!
