Tomorrow I’m kicking it into high gear, Kindegarten Cop style. This week is testing for my students, meaning they take a different test everyday for 5 hours. It’s excrutiating and I usually try to show some compassion. However, my students seem to think it’s acceptable during testing week to show up tardy to my class…..everyday. Today I had enough. I took away their 6 weeks raffle, where I draw names from the tickets they’ve earned for prizes. Then I took away being able to use the computers today after their tests to play games on the internet. AND after that was over, I wrote three referrals to the office for students that had over 6 tardies for the past month and a half of school.
Oh, I laid down the law today, but I’ve got a surprise for them. Tomorrow, I’m going to ask a security guard to stand outside of my door before the tardy bell rings. Anyone that is late, will have to answer to him. :::Insert evil laugh here:::
You are so mean!
