So I was messing around on Photoshop yesterday during work, trying to create my name logo for my resume webpage. This is the one I like the most so far, though it vaguely reminds me of the Sex In the City logo.
Anyway, as I was designing, I started thinking about tattoos. I got my first over a year ago, and I know I want at least one more. They are kind of addicting, despite the pain. Problem is, I’m not sure of what. My compass rose tattoo is something I wanted for a long, long time and it means something to me. I don’t want to put something on my body I won’t want there in 30 years, duh. So while I want another one, I can’t get one until I feel as strongly about something else.
I’ve thrown around some ideas. I really want to get something that signifies my family or sisters, so I’ve thought about the roman numeral 3 or 5, as well as the letter K with 3 stars around it. But when i was messing around in Photoshop yesterday, I really liked this:
I really want one on my wrist and I like how this would be a subtly reminder of me. I mean, no other name fits me as well as Katie

This might be lame, but I’ve always liked the trinity knot as a sign of three sisters. I know, blame Charmed, but I really like their tattoos.
Or, what about getting something in spanish to commemorate your years in Texas?
