As I may have mentioned previously, I’m going to be a teaching assistant for a class called “Sex, Love and the Media”. It’s all about how the media influences our perceptions of relationships and attractiveness. I haven’t started teaching the class yet, but it’s already getting me to think.
I’ve cycled through more actors than men in the last year. I go through short, intense crushes, sort of like middle school. So far it’s been: Edward Norton, Christian Bale, John Krasinski, Alan Rickman, James Long and most oddly Hugh Laurie.
So what does this say about my expectations in a relationship?
You think a crush on Hugh Laurie is odder than a crush on Alan Rickman? That’s bizarre logic.
