Coolest Parentals

Unlike many young adults, I’ve never been ashamed of my parents. I’ve been very lucky when it comes to the genetic game of chance. You don’t get to pick your parents, but if I had the choice, I would’ve picked mine.

This latest gushing of admiration takes root in my Dad’s recent retirement. Never content to sit at home and watch TV (and you wonder where I get it from) my father has decided to make his mark on the technology world. A few weeks ago, he began his online technology assistance service, “The Cheap Geek” (wonder where he got that brilliant name from ;o) For an extremely reasonable price, he will come to you and aid you in whatever may plague your electronically challenged home. He offers programming, hook-ups, even offers to sell your old pieces of electronic equipment on e-bay! I think it’s a fabulous idea and on top of that, he now has an online blog offering his advice and perspective on new technology. Be sure to check out his services the next time you’re in need at:

www.thecheapgeek.net AND his blog at http://geekblog.thecheapgeek.net
