CAMPING!

Layla and I are going camping! I love camping and haven’t done it in ages. I thought it really wasn’t possible because I only have a tent. I did some research and as long as your dog is under constant supervision, there’s no problem sleeping in a tent. Unfortunately, many state parks will not allow dogs on their trails, so my dream of hitting all the state parks will have to wait a little longer. However, no reason not to visit some other equally beautiful parks. The first stop is close and could be done in a day. Websites suggests trying something small to get your dog adjusted to all the outdoor smells and animals. The first on the list is Coconino National Forest in Flagstaff. Eventually I want to hit the Grand Canyon, which actually has inexpensive kennels at some point. I really want to start a travel journal of just Layla and my adventures. First though, I need to get her travel pouch she can wear. Can’t wait to start and take lots of pictures!

She got her teeth cleaned yesterday! Baby’s got a bright and adorable smile!

Murphy needs to get his teeth cleaned. But, it’s so dang expensive! We’re just going to have to suck it up and have it done, though.

We haven’t been camping in YEARS. Good luck with Layla! I think it could be fun with Ella but Murphy would drive everyone crazy. Including the squirrels he would be barking at.
