Not so subtle…

After obtaining my masters degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication in May 2009, I fell into freelancing as a social media and public relations consultant. It was in these travels I was introduced to Karen Barr, Editor of Raising Arizona Kids Magazine, who hired me on as the Community Relations Manager in August of 2009. I am very privileged to work for a publication that combines a forward thinking approach to journalism with a passion for community building and outreach through new mediums.

I am fascinated by advances in social network technology and spend most of my time outside of work mastering the art of building and branding ideas or people for the Internet. I’m very dedicated to community service and giving social causes here in Phoenix, a fighting chance.
